Yes! SwemKids students receive 4 hours of free introductory swimming lessons, however in order to get to a level of proficiency, it is recommended that students continue in year round swimming lessons. Students have the option to transfer to any local swimming program or to our tuition-based program with the SwemSchool.
Youth instruction with the SwemSchool is $79 per month for 4-30 minute lessons, and $138 per month for 4-60 minute lessons. Our work is guided by the American Red Cross’s Learn to Swim Curriculum and our instructors and Lifeguards are American Red Cross certified.
For your child’s first day of lessons we ask that they come with a swimming suit, just in case their swimsuit size is not available. Also, please bring a towel. Please do not bring floaties, life jackets, or other floatation devices.
SwemKids swimming scholarships are for youth ages 4 years old to 17 years old. SwemKids partners with K-12 schools and community organizations to provide swimming instruction and water safety programming. If you are interested in swimming instruction for other ages, including adult, the SwemSchool provides instruction as young as 3 months old through adult.
Lessons are provided year round in our indoor, heated pools. Each scholarship student receives one 60 minute lesson per week for 4 weeks. The registration agent will confirm the day and time for your lessons, but if you have any questions please contact us at info@swemschool.com.
